Hopefully, Week 2 will be just a little less crazy than the start of Week 1. I did an AMA earlier today that you can check out here, and then I was on BallBlast Football's Start/Sit show as well. Go here to check that out.

Good luck with all your matchups, and we will see you on Monday recapping the three biggest storylines from today.

Week 2 Sunday Preview

Key Player Updates

Rashaad Penny, Running Back (Seattle Seahawks): Penny is doubtful to play against the Tennessee Titans today. Go grab Alex Collins if you want part of the Seahawks backfield.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Running Back (New England Patriots): Looks like Stevenson is the latest healthy scratch at running back this NFL season. He is officially droppable in redraft leagues.

Jamison Crowder, Wide Receiver (New York Jets): Crowder is inactive against the New England Patriots

Michael Pittman Jr., Wide Receiver (Indianapolis Colts): Pittman Jr. is a game-time decision for the Colts against the Los Angeles Rams. Stay away.

Parris Campbell, Wide Receiver (Indianapolis Colts): Campbell is also a game-time decision for the Colts against the Los Angeles Rams. Also, stay away.

Top Waiver Players Available

Teddy Bridgewater (Denver Broncos) has a great matchup this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a ton of weapons at his disposal. I mentioned earlier in the week that you should go pick him up with two great matchups in a row Week 2 and Week 3. He is still largely available, so go get him now.

Running Back

There are three types of running back available on waivers right now. There are a few nominal starters like Mark Ingram II (Houston Texans) and Carlos Hyde (Jacksonville Jaguars) still available. Then there are the valuable second pieces of a running back committee like the Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell. Finally, Peyton Barber (Las Vegas Raiders) is still widely available and could be the lead back in Las Vegas with fellow running back Josh Jacobs out.

Wide Receiver

Darnell Mooney (Chicago Bears) is still available in over half of ESPN and Yahoo leagues. He should not be. If he is gone in your league though, Nelson Agholor (New England Patriots) is an excellent option that is still widely available. The Lateral writer Zach Crutcher thinks he is a great play this week with a good matchup against the New York Jets, and I absolutely agree.

Tight End

Cole Kmet (Chicago Bears). That is it. That is all you need.

Defense/Special Teams

Arizona Cardinals DST has an amazing matchup against a terrible Minnesota Vikings offensive line. Go scoop them up right now!

Evan McPherson (Cincinnati Bengals) is Lindellions approved. He is also The Lateral approved. Start him with confidence everywhere you can.
